Clear rules for using our guides

Terms of Use

These Terms explain the conditions for using Clean Home Routines, including the limits of our household guidance, permitted use of our work, and responsibilities when applying cleaning advice.

Last updated July 22, 2026

1. Acceptance of these Terms

By accessing or using cleanhomeroutines.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. A parent or legal guardian is responsible for a minor’s use of the Site.

2. What Clean Home Routines provides

Clean Home Routines is an editorial resource for manageable cleaning schedules, room-by-room routines, decluttering methods, storage habits, home-maintenance reminders, and practical household organization.

Our goal is to help readers turn broad home-care tasks into clearer steps. The Site is not a cleaning contractor, repair service, medical provider, toxicology service, pest-control operator, mold assessor, building inspector, or manufacturer.

3. Household and product safety

Never mix household cleaners or disinfectants. In particular, bleach should not be combined with ammonia, acids, vinegar, or other cleaning products. Dangerous fumes or chemical reactions may result.

When applying any routine or tip from the Site, you agree to:

  • Read and follow the product label, manufacturer instructions, hazard statements, dilution directions, and surface-care instructions.
  • Use suitable ventilation and any recommended gloves, eye protection, or other protective equipment.
  • Keep products, tools, cords, buckets, and small objects away from children and pets.
  • Test a method on a small, inconspicuous area when material compatibility is uncertain.
  • Stop immediately if you notice irritation, fumes, discoloration, surface damage, unusual heat, or another unexpected reaction.
  • Contact the manufacturer, a qualified professional, emergency service, or poison-control resource when a situation requires specialized guidance.

Product labels, equipment manuals, property rules, and instructions from qualified local professionals take priority over general information on the Site.

4. Educational content, not professional advice

Articles are provided for general educational and informational purposes. They are not individualized professional advice and do not account for every material, product formula, allergy, health condition, building system, local regulation, warranty, or household circumstance.

Content about stains, pests, mold, electrical appliances, plumbing, ladders, damaged surfaces, biohazards, chemical exposure, or indoor air concerns may require professional assessment. Do not rely on the Site as a substitute for emergency, medical, legal, technical, or licensed trade advice.

5. Personal-use license

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the Site and use its articles, checklists, and routines for personal, non-commercial household use.

You may save a link, print a reasonable number of copies for your own home, and quote a short excerpt with clear attribution and a link to the original page.

6. Prohibited use

You may not:

  • Republish, scrape, copy, sell, license, translate, or distribute substantial portions of the Site without written permission.
  • Use automated tools to harvest content, contact details, or data in a way that burdens the Site or bypasses access controls.
  • Remove copyright, disclosure, attribution, or rights-management notices.
  • Misrepresent our content as your own or imply that Clean Home Routines endorses a person, product, business, or service.
  • Upload malicious code, probe security, interfere with operation, submit spam, or use the Site for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, or infringing activity.
  • Use Site content to create unsafe chemical instructions, misleading health claims, or advice that contradicts product labels or public-safety guidance.

7. Messages, comments, and other submissions

When you send feedback, a correction, a suggestion, or other material, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it does not violate another person’s rights or contain unlawful, malicious, confidential, or misleading material.

You retain ownership of original material you submit. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, edit, and display that material only as reasonably needed to operate the Site, respond, moderate, investigate issues, or incorporate a suggestion into our editorial work. We are not required to publish or use a submission.

Do not send confidential business information, private records, or sensitive personal data through a general comment or contact field.

8. Editorial process and corrections

We aim to write practical, readable content and to distinguish editorial material from commercial content. We may revise articles to improve clarity, reflect product changes, correct errors, or update safety guidance.

Home-care results vary. A method that works on one finish, fabric, appliance, climate, or household may not work on another. Publication does not guarantee a particular outcome.

Readers may report a factual or safety concern through our Contact page. We review credible correction requests and may update, clarify, or remove content at our discretion.

9. Advertising, sponsorships, and affiliate relationships

The Site may be supported now or in the future through advertising, sponsorships, or affiliate links. This does not mean that any specific advertising network is currently active.

Where appropriate, sponsored or affiliate relationships will be disclosed. A commission or commercial relationship does not increase the price paid by a reader unless the relevant seller states otherwise, and it does not give an outside party the right to control our safety statements or editorial conclusions.

Product mentions are not guarantees of availability, price, suitability, safety, performance, or regulatory status. Verify current information with the manufacturer or seller before purchasing or using a product.

10. Third-party links, products, and services

The Site may link to retailers, manufacturers, government resources, videos, social platforms, or other third parties. We do not control their content, security, accessibility, availability, terms, privacy practices, shipping, warranties, refunds, or product claims.

A link is provided for context or convenience and does not automatically constitute endorsement. Your interaction or transaction with a third party is between you and that third party.

12. Site availability and changes

We may modify, suspend, remove, reorganize, or discontinue any part of the Site without guaranteeing advance notice. We may also restrict access to protect security, investigate misuse, perform maintenance, or comply with law.

We may update these Terms. The version posted on this page applies from the “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.

13. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that every article is complete, error-free, continuously available, suitable for your specific home, or compatible with every product, material, appliance, or local rule.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clean Home Routines and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or reliance on the Site, including loss involving property, data, opportunity, revenue, or third-party services.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. These limits do not apply where exclusion or limitation is prohibited, including liability that cannot lawfully be restricted.

15. Governing principles, severability, and waiver

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of Clean Home Routines, without removing mandatory consumer or privacy protections that apply in your place of residence.

If a provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue. A failure to enforce a provision once is not a permanent waiver of that provision.

Before starting a formal dispute, you agree to contact us and provide a reasonable opportunity to understand and address the concern, except where immediate action is legally necessary.
